There have been many approaches to achieve this, including filling the handlebar with foam. However, to effectively reduce vibrations, one must start with the material itself. And that’s exactly what we did. In close collaboration with our engineers and the EFBE testing laboratory in Germany, we sought a solution. The result was a special processing technology for carbon laminates. This allows us to produce a handlebar that is lightweight and stable even under the toughest conditions, while also absorbing shocks and reducing vibrations. This is particularly important during long descents in rough terrain, where arm muscles can become extremely fatigued. The Seismic Carbon handlebar has been tested to the highest standard, the EFBE EPAC MTB-GR 2021. This test imposes the toughest demands on the material and, thanks to the safety level 5 approval, it is also suitable for the most demanding e-bike and downhill use.
