According to tests, one of the safest locks. You can't remove it with hand tools, you need a saw or an angle grinder. The shackle could be longer because it is difficult to find a place where it fits. With the cable you can also secure the front wheel. Cable < chain < folding lock < U-lock in terms of security. If there is another bike there that is easier to steal, then the bike with the Kryptonite will certainly not be stolen. Btw. if my bike is gone, then I correct this rating.

I used it to replace my aging ABUS Granit.
The Kryptonite lock body is a lot more massive than the Abus one, but the naked shackle is 1mm smaller in diameter than the ABUS one, which is partly due to the fact that the vinyl casing is quite thick and thus simulates a larger diameter.
At first I was sceptical whether the "mini" lock and the cable are long enough to securely lock my bike (e-bike), but my doubts were unfounded: the lock fits with plenty of space between the rear wheel and the frame, with the cable I can also secure the front wheel and/or secure the bike to a fixed object.
In my case, the lock holder could not be sensibly attached anywhere on the frame, which is why I always transport the lock and cable in the basket/carrier. I therefore removed the metal holder on the lock (Allen screw) and enclosed the free-standing piece of bracket with heat-shrink tubing as used in electronics/model construction.
One last point I want to mention here: the lock does not work with pins as usual but with washers, which makes the lock much more difficult to pick. The disadvantage of this system is that you can turn the key even if it is not inserted all the way, which in the worst case can lead to the lock not being able to be opened. Therefore, always make sure that the key is inserted as far as it will go before opening the lock.
