Great device. Could only be better if it worked.

77 reasons that speak against the device:

- 2 x called the support hotline
- 3 x sent a message via the contact form
- 15 x posted in the official support forum
- 11 x sent an email to the technical support
- 40 hours of troubleshooting
- 6 x charged credit card for monthly subscription

Nice toy. But hands off if you're looking for a reliable device for emergencies. more

Hardware very good, software no longer quite bad

Technically a really very good device. Works without problems at temperatures far below freezing, even when not worn on the body. The display is very good. Important functions can be reached with one click. But: the operation and menus take some getting used to. The weak point is clearly the communication with the smartphone. It is very unstable. If it works today, it does not mean that it will work tomorrow. Garmin Connect: very shaky. Garmin Explore: not bad, but the functionality of the app is quite meager.  more
