    Very easy to use, a must for hiking, nature week, heats up quickly and cools down quickly!

    For the management of the electricity produced by the combustion, I recommend first charging the battery pack and then using the battery to charge a headlamp or using the surplus to charge direct devices etc....It is possible to charge the battery pack from the mains just in case, for the first use I recommend to do so. It takes several heatings to fully recharge the battery, so it is necessary to manage the balance between storage, production, and charging priority, nothing complicated in the field, but be aware.

    • Reading the simple instructions for use is essential for understanding the energy-generating subtlety
    • Normal colour change of the metal, its efficiency remains the same.

    • Handling of the electrical aspect a bit tedious at first, but afterwards perfect
    • I would have appreciated a waterproof bag in addition to the cover provided for the grill.
    • Charcoal and inadequate liquid firelighters.but frankly there is no need lol

    Great piece, but too heavy for hiking

    I have been using this appliance for a good 3 years, not only on motorbike tours, but also on camping holidays and on Saturdays at home in the garden to cook my coffee and eggs. Especially the French press stamp (optional) gives a wonderful coffee after some trial and error, the grill roasts meat sensationally for 4 people and the operation with pellets delays the total burning time significantly. Customer service with Biolite in New York has always been very friendly and informative.

    • I had to replace the chrome steel nIeten of the feet, as well as the rubber seal of the Kettle Pot...
    • ... Next, the Kettle-Pot lid, which is cracked.

    Cool, adventurous cooker

    Clever outdoor cooker, needs a bit of practice with lighting the fire and refilling. Power generator is a bit slow but works fine as an emergency charge.
