Ortlieb Backroller Plus

The Back-Roller Plus is a straightforward, spacious pannier for the rear rack. Its symmetrical, angled shape provides the necessary legroom for this Ortlieb classic, which continues to enjoy unrestricted popularity. The individual bags can be attached to either the left or right side of the bike. A permanently mounted inner pocket, consisting of a main compartment and a zippered mesh pocket, keeps the contents organized. The Quick-Lock2.1 mounting system for the bike bags builds on the proven Quick-Lock2 system but has been significantly improved in several key areas and is even more aligned with the current range of racks. This optimized system features: automatic locking and unlocking of the hooks by lifting the bag at the handle. When the bag is lifted at the hook handle, the two hooks at the back of the bag open. The bag can now be hung on the rack. When the handle is released, the two hooks close around the rack tube. The lower hook rail is made of a two-component plastic with an anti-scratch function. The contact surfaces are softer, reducing wear on the rack tube. The lower hook can rotate in 15-degree increments and can be adjusted in height. As with the conventional Quick-Lock2 system, all hooks are adjustable without tools and can be easily replaced.
