In Austria, e-scooters are subject to the Austrian bicycle regulation, which fully mandates the installation of passive lighting (reflectors according to ECE 104). It is recommended to apply the reflector films AN-266482 in accordance with the legal requirements. This stipulates that appropriate reflectors must be installed facing forward (white), sideways (yellow), and backward (red) when the vehicle is used in public traffic. The reflectors must each have an area of 20 cm².
