Flossing is a compression-based interval method for joint mobilisation. The powerbands FLOSS Band (Voodoo Band) promotes muscle regeneration after training, accelerates re-entry after injuries, improves joint mechanics and dissolves tissue adhesions.
If you wrap a 5 cm wide and 1-1.5 mm thick, firm elastic band around a part of your body and then use it to make specific movements for a few minutes, this is called flossing. The wrapped part of the body/joint is tightly encircled and properly tied in a circular fashion.
How does flossing work?
The powerband FLOSS is wrapped around the tissue or joint to be treated. In order to achieve a high and flat compression pressure we recommend to wrap the desired area over a large area. As soon as the flossing band is fixed, the joint is moved within the desired range of motion. The powerband FLOSS should be removed after 2 minutes at the latest to avoid an undersupply of the connected tissue.
