Satel Int-Fi Fibre Optic Interface

The INT-FI converter is used to convert and transmit data over fiber optic cables. It offers high communication immunity against potential interference with complete galvanic isolation of the connected devices. It is designed for use with the keyboard and expansion buses of the INTEGRA series controllers, as well as with the RS-485 bus of the ACCO access control system. The INT-FI is equipped with four sockets to connect two pairs of optical fibers, as well as connections for signals from three communication buses of the INTEGRA controllers (one keyboard bus and two expansion buses) or one RS-485 bus of the ACCO access control system.

Depending on the jumper settings on the circuit board, the INT-FI can operate in various configurations, with the selected configuration indicated by LEDs. Using the appropriate network connection type (cascade) allows for an increase in transmission range of up to 4 km, with the maximum distance between the two converters being 2 km.
