Inexpensive entry-level chocolate fountain. However, quite noisy in operation and laborious to clean, as the drip tray can not be removed at the bottom.

After all the reviews, I was a little sceptical about ordering the chocolate fountain.
But I was pleasantly surprised!
It has a good description of how to prepare the chocolate (first melt it in a pan and add 80ml of oil to 400g of chocolate). The best option is butter or even better cocoa butter. I have also tried neutral palm fat, which is contained in many fat glazes / couvertures and it worked great! You need less fat for a high-quality chocolate glaze like the ones you can buy in the supermarket, but 80g of palm fat is certainly not bad! This way, nothing clogs up and the chocolate flows beautifully!
Cleaning: The previous chocolate can be easily scraped out of the drip pan (fine spread), then pour some hot water with washing-up liquid into the drip pan and wipe out... The spiral conveyor and cascades are super easy to remove and rinse in warm water.
I'm glad I ordered this eye-catcher for a party. I will continue to use it for coffee and brunch or parties because it is so easy.Pro
