So far, the sous-vide cooker has done very well. You are limited to a fixed size (as opposed to a rod-shaped model), but you benefit from an easy-to-clean shape and a closing cover that prevents evaporation. The temperature is easy to adjust. The water heats up reasonably quickly and then remains stable, as far as one can tell from the display. The meat has definitely turned out very well so far. Only the noise development clouds the positive impression a little. However, unless you have an open kitchen, this can be reduced very well with a closed door.

If you don't want a sous-vide rod, this is a very good choice.
