We wanted a reliable and durable replacement for the VZug Tumbler, which was around 15 years old. We've had it for 9 months now. The Miele dries relatively well (you always have to select a higher drying level to achieve the promised result) and is easy to maintain on a daily basis.
The water drain is external.
Switching it on is a disaster - a touch button that you have to press as hard as a button from the 50s to get it to respond. And then it takes 1-2 seconds until it reacts, meanwhile you have pressed it again. You get annoyed every time you switch it on... You ALWAYS have to do bed linen explicitly with the bed linen programme and even there it turns almost too rarely. In all other programmes, knots are guaranteed in 5 minutes.
Otherwise, the touch display reacts quite well and quickly. The online function is not really clear, because the app just doesn't work properly. Set the timer for night-time power or, if the sun is shining, for the afternoon (solar) and that's it. It tells me that it wants to have the filter stroked when it is unloaded/the next time it is (forcibly) switched on.
I just hope that it is as durable as the brand promises, then perhaps the deficits can be endured. I'd still like to hit the power button developer ;-)

In case of Miele, you get what you pay for. Quality product from start to finish. Looks, controls, solid build quality, operation, results.
Well worth the price.

The machines were delivered very quickly at the agreed time. What is not clear from the description, even after reading it several times, is the fact that the washing machine is delivered with a bare cable without a plug. This information is technically quite cryptic and is only given after the order has been placed. You can then book all kinds of expensive additional services at the advertised price, which is what you have to do in this case! Because if the machine is not connected by an authorised dealer or Miele customer service, the warranty expires. In my opinion, this is an outrage at a price of almost 2000 Swiss francs. The machine was delivered on Tuesday, customer service was advised on Wednesday, nothing was received on Thursday, it will probably be difficult to find someone on Friday and then, bang, a whole week goes by before you can even use the machine. That puts you in a bad mood and makes you want to buy in Germany again.
