    Finally one that comes close to a cable vacuum!

    In advance, I usually write rather rarely product reviews, but if this possibly helps with the selection, very happy:

    Initial situation:
    5.5 room apartment, 140 sqm, 2 longhaired cats (extremely hairy!), 1 child, parquet     floor AND carpet.

    We already had the Philips SpeedPro and the Electrolux Ergorapido. With a Dyson I can not compare, the price is far from our ideas.

    Philips SpeedPro:
    + weight
    + 2in1 (if needed)
    + very maneuverable
    + charging time
    - Suction power low and loses absorbed
    - Battery!!! Not whole apartment
    - Dust container small
    - Brushes quickly filled with hair
    - Weight noticeable in the hand
    Electrolux:
    + Weight is low, therefore not in the hand
    + 2in1 (if needed)
    + charging station
    + suction power okay, but not good
    + maneuverable
    - also loses a little the sucked up
    - Battery life okay, but not good. Not whole apartment
    - Hair quickly in brush

    What was important to us:
    - Suction power
    - Battery life
    - Large container

    The Bosch fulfills these points with flying colors. The suction power is very good, in the 1st stage on parquet sufficient for cat hair and dust, 2nd stage excellent, even for carpet. 3rd stage is for stubborn dirt on carpet.
    The battery life is excellent, we vacuum the entire apartment twice with one charge, half on level 1 and other half on level 2. So the stated runtime of 60 min is definitely true.
    The only thing that can be criticized is the higher weight, but you get used to that and it is negligible considering the performance. Battery charging time is longer than with other products, but since the battery life is excellent, no problem.

    Does the Bosch replace a standard corded vacuum cleaner? Yep, about 85% of the time this is covered, a corded vacuum still vacuums a bit cleaner. However, in our case, the Bosch replaced a corded vacuum. Well done, Bosch!
