There is a hose through which the condensation water can drain off. The water should then flow into a container.
I installed this device at my grandparents' house.
It ran all last summer. I only emptied it about 3-4 times.
To do this, I always switched the appliance off because (unless you install the hose that releases the liquid into a container or similar) you have to tilt the appliance backwards so that the liquid drains off at the drain at the very bottom at the back. The unit has to be tilted relatively

The refrigerant R290 (gas) is in a closed circuit. It should not volatilise. However, due to ageing and vibrations over the years, it can lead to leaks in seals/connections. And so the gas can escape.
My first air conditioner cooled perfectly for 11 years. Provided the maintenance is correct. (Filter,drain water....)
