With integrated bus coupler and a 4-fold push-button interface, this controller does not have a control knob for setpoint adjustment and cannot be manipulated externally. Full functionality is supported from ETS 3.0d or higher. It belongs to the ETS product family of physical sensors and is designed for temperature control. Its intended use is for individual room temperature control in KNX installations, with installation in a device box according to DIN 49073.

Product features include the measurement of room temperature and comparison with setpoint temperature. Setpoint specification is achieved by selecting the operating mode, which includes comfort, standby, night operation, and frost/heat protection. The device supports both heating and cooling operations, with basic and additional stages. Operation is exclusively via the bus. The push-button interface has four inputs or two outputs and two inputs, suitable for window contacts, buttons, LEDs, etc. The functions of the inputs include switching, dimming, blinds control, light scenes secondary control, and brightness or temperature value transmission. An optional external temperature sensor can be connected.

Specifications include KNX medium: TP 256, KNX nominal voltage: DC 21 to 32 V SELV, and KNX current consumption: max. 7.5 mA. The KNX connection is via a terminal block. The ambient temperature range is −5 to +45 °C, while the storage and transport temperature range is −25 to +70 °C. The output current is 0.8 mA.

For inputs and outputs, the cable type is J-Y(St)Y 2 x 2 x 0.8 mm, with a maximum cable length of 5 m. The maximum cable length for the temperature sensor is 50 m. Caution: If cables with a cross-section of 1.5 mm² are used, a switch junction box should be employed.
