80 percent of Germans experience back pain at some point in their lives. This is not an unavoidable fate, as movement can achieve a lot in this area—provided it is the right kind of movement. Back expert Prof. Dr. Ingo Froböse has developed a sophisticated program suitable for both individuals with acute pain and those suffering from chronic issues. After a brief introduction to the origins and causes of back pain, nearly 50 exercises are presented in both words and images, categorized by different areas of the back. These exercises initially alleviate acute pain, address the underlying causes, and strengthen the back for the long term. There are specially tailored programs for desk workers and those with tense backs. The DVD, with 80 minutes of playtime, supports daily practice: four programs can be selected based on individual needs, such as brisk or intensive.
