Product details
The psychosocial diagnostic system PREDI not only captures disorders and problems but also personal resources in terms of strengths and healthy aspects of a client or patient, as well as motivational aspects of readiness for change. It serves as a complement to the conventional diagnostic system of the ICD in the psychosocial field. The central tool is the PREDI short diagnosis, consisting of 16 rating scales across nine life areas, which are assessed based on the aspects of problem burden, resources, and change goals. Additionally, there is a criteria list that helps specify the individual rating value for the assessment of problems and resources. An empirical study was conducted to determine reliability and validity, and further investigations are in the evaluation stage. PREDI provides a data collection instrument for assessment.
