As a bear cub in Pandaria, I was eager to learn as much about cooking as I could. Many people who passed by supported me with good advice and one or two recipes. Yes, when I first started to delve into the subject, a particularly patient adventurer even gave me daily lessons.

But it wasn't long before I had learned everything there was to learn in Pandaria, and I succumbed to the call of the vast world of Azeroth. For a while, I simply wandered around in search of exciting new experiences – but as it turns out, life as an adventurer is quite exhausting! Eventually, I had no choice but to accept the fact that I was better suited for cooking than for a life as a warrior, healer, or mage. So, at some point, I traded my travel boots for an apron and took a job at an inn in Dalaran, where I worked for some time. There, I further honed my skills until, with the support of adventurers like you, I was finally able to open my own experimental kitchen in a tavern, where I created some truly delicious dishes.

But do you know what else happened in that inn, friends? Travelers from all corners of the world stopped by to stock up on supplies, share a jug of spirits with their friends, and sometimes even to have a chat with the folks behind the counter. This way, I heard many stories from the most remote regions of Azeroth, occasionally accompanied by fascinating descriptions of the local food and drink.

What resulted is the book you are currently holding – my life's work. This cookbook is not just filled to the brim with delicious recipes, but also full of memories of the friends I met along the way.
