Chartres

In early 2011, I gave several lectures on the Gothic cathedral as an image, as a form, as a structure of the heart in a reversal. Some people were so enthusiastic about these ideas, which specifically referred to the Cathedral of Chartres, that the initiative for a trip to it - Notre Dame de Chartres - was taken, where I was to give two lectures, one on these ideas and another on the history of human thought since Greek times. In this development, the School of Chartres holds a very important place. Thus, in the spring of 2013, we traveled to Chartres with a group of Belgian, Dutch, and even Danish participants. The initiative for this trip sparked such interest among German-speaking enthusiasts that another trip followed in the spring of 2014, this time with participants from Switzerland.
