Interkulturelle Kompetenz in der Erwachsenenbildung

This work was written for practitioners in adult education. It includes theoretical foundations of intercultural adult education and didactics, as well as reflections on social and intercultural competence constructions for intercultural training work. The development of theory is supported by the results of a phenomenological study on interculturality in the workplace. The model provided for intercultural training development includes prerequisites for intercultural adult education, subjective theories about interculturality and intercultural competence of potential participants, an andragogical definition of intercultural competence, and guidance on designing learning processes at different contextual levels.
