Product details
A walk with children can be quite exciting. Especially near bodies of water, many animals are around, and you can observe ducks, geese, frogs, and fish - and even a few insects may fly by. In this project folder, you embark on an adventure journey with the children to explore different types of water bodies and their inhabitants. From the spring to the stream and on to the lake, the children will learn about the various types of water bodies and their characteristics: Does the water flow or is it still? Is it a natural body of water or perhaps artificially created? The children will also get to know different plants found in and around the water, raising their awareness for nature conservation throughout the project - as bodies of water with their animals and plants are particularly worthy of protection. Contents include: explorer maps, the water lily, building a raft, filtering water like the pond mussel, captivating rivers, animals and their young, and tracking the water strider (an experiment).
