Product details
The third volume of the Eifel series. At the beginning, as is typical for the genre, there is a murder; a double murder, executed with a lot of criminal energy on the golf course. The author then sends his private eye, the cheeky journalist Siggi Baumeister, on a quest for the perpetrator through the towns and villages of the Eifel. The provincial reporter is in no way inferior to a Philip Marlowe - like him, Baumeister does not emerge from the story either heroically or unscathed. With gentle irony, he pokes fun at the most private aspects of the simple and more complicated locals, including their love and financial lives.
