Product details
The Modulor is a proportion system developed by the architect and painter Le Corbusier (1887 - 1965) between 1942 and 1955, and it represents the most significant modern attempt to provide architecture with a mathematical order oriented to the scale of human beings. It is thus in the tradition of Vitruvius. The Modulor, first published in French in 1948, is considered one of the most important writings in the history of architecture and architectural theory. The book was translated into German by Richard Herre in 1953.
