Product details
In this completely revised and expanded edition, the standardisation activities of the last few years were taken into account. The focus was on the one hand on the extension of the standardisation of efficiency classes and their metrological validation, and on the other hand on the further improvement of the standards for the measurement of partial discharges in insulation systems as well as for the qualification of insulation systems that are exposed to impulse voltages as caused by frequency converters. In addition, DIN EN 60034-32 (VDE 0530-32) is the first guideline for the measurement of winding head vibrations of large electrical machines. However, basic standards such as DIN EN 60034-1 (VDE 0530-1), DIN EN 60034-2-1 (VDE 0530-2-1) or DIN EN 60034-12 (VDE 0530-12) have also been fundamentally extended in the course of revisions. - Explanations of the standards of the series DIN EN 60034 (VDE 0530) "Rotating electrical machines", - connected with the purpose to clarify the technical-physical background of the limit values, the permissible deviations and the test method specified in the standards, - avoidance of misunderstandings in the interpretation of the standards series DIN EN 60034 (VDE 0530), - IEC 60034, international focus: In this context, those points are also mentioned and justified where the German experts were not able to assert their views in the international standardisation bodies.
