Nicolas Hollmann's surprise couldn't be greater. His uncle Friedrich, who emigrated to Portugal in 1974, has left him a vineyard. However, the inheritance comes with a condition: the 30-year-old architect must run the vineyard himself. Nicolas, who knows nothing about viticulture and doesn't speak Portuguese, accepts the challenge. At the Quinta do Amanhecer, where the finest port wines are produced, he is not exactly welcomed warmly. However, Nicolas remains undeterred. He diligently learns everything about the production and distribution of port wine. Until he discovers a letter in his deceased uncle's library: "Dear Nic, find my killer...".
