Product details

Terrarium lighting. Ideal for all tropical and subtropical reptiles. Low amount of UVB, tailored to the lowest layer of the rainforest. Effective up to 30 cm (a minimum distance of 10 cm is recommended). Produces the necessary UVB rays for optimal calcium metabolism. Contains UVA rays that stimulate activity, appetite, and reproductive behavior. Repti Planet UVB 5.0 does not emit sufficient heat and light rays. Can be combined with heating and lighting lamps if needed (e.g., Repti Planet Infrared Heat, Daylight Basking Spot, Daylight Frosted, Daylight Neodym, Far Infrared Heat, or Night Heat). The optimal UVB intensity aids in the conversion of vitamin D3, ensuring calcium absorption. UVB radiation is part of sunlight, which is essential for the health of terrarium animals and helps prevent metabolic diseases. The intensity of UVB radiation in bulbs decreases during use (by more than 50% over 1 year). Regular replacement ensures optimal UVB intensity.
