The majority of the product is good, the choice of material still has to assert itself outdoors, the extension cable of only 5m is annoying.

In general, I am very satisfied with the LED Spot Hue Lily product. The installation is very easy and the operation with the app works very well and intuitively. I consider the choice of material for the transparent cover over the spotlight to be a disadvantage - it is made of plastic (for the price, I would have expected glass). Time will tell if the plastic is suitable for outdoor use. A little annoying for me is the length of the extension cable. Fortunately, these can be ordered separately, but only in a length of 5m - if you are missing 1m of cable to illuminate a certain object in your garden, for example, you have to extend with 5m of cable despite the short distance.

    Pro

    • beautiful light
    • Simple installation
    • Simple and intuitive operation via app

    Contra

    • Cover over spotlight made of plastic
    • Extension cable only available in 5m
    • could be a little more filigree (design)

    Hue plug connection

The plug connection is equipped with very cheap pins. After just under 1.5 years, this "rotted off". Incomprehensible, why so what is installed. This has already happened with the second lamp.

    Pro

    • Lamp flawless

    Contra

    • Plug connection not weatherproof
