Description

On an expedition deep in the American wilderness, the legendary hunter and adventurer Hugh Glass (Leonardo DiCaprio) is attacked by a bear and left behind by his hunting companions who are convinced that he is doomed to death. In his fight for survival, Glass not only suffers unbearable torture, he also has to experience that his supposed protector John Fitzgerald (Tom Hardy) betrays him, robs him and lets him down. Driven by his love for his family and a seemingly superhuman will to survive to avenge this betrayal, Glass fights his way back into life through an unforgiving winter and a hostile wilderness.more

Actor

An actor (alternatively actress for a female; see terminology) is a person who acts in a dramatic or comic production and works in film, television, theatre, or radio in that capacity. Following the economic, political, military, scientific, cultural, and colonial influence of Great Britain and the United Kingdom from the 18th century, via the British Empire, and of the United States since the mid-20th century, it has been widely dispersed around the world, become the leading language of international discourse, and has acquired use as lingua franca in many regions. It is widely learned as a second language and used as an official language of the European Union and many Commonwealth countries, as well as in many world organizations. It is the third most natively spoken language in the world, after Mandarin Chinese and Spanish.

subtitle language
i

subtitle language

Subtitles (UT) are lines of text placed under or next to images to provide written information about the image. Examples are comments under Magazine Photos or under the illustrations in this Wikipedia article. In a film or television picture, subtitles are usually displayed at the bottom of the screen to translate spoken content from a foreign language or to make it accessible to the hearing impaired. In most countries, foreign-language films are usually subtitled instead of dubbed for cost reasons. Subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing describe not only the linguistic content but also ambient noises, e.g. "quiet music".

The Revenant (2015)
