Once again I am absolutely annoyed by a Philipps Avent product... It is cheaply made and sold at a completely exorbitant price. The main thing is that it says Philipps on it... The baby monitor (baby part) already gave up on the first charge and has since only been usable with a mains cable, which is of course restrictive. Despite following the instructions for use. After a few weeks, the parent part also started making faxes. In the meantime (less than 8 months after purchase), the battery no longer charges properly, the connection has a loose contact and the battery indicator does what it wants. One minute it's full, the next it gives an alarm because the battery seems to be empty. Then the phone makes an annoying beep about every 10 seconds that can't be turned down. Then the alarm stops again and the baby monitor continues to run for a good 1 hour. In the meantime, it is pure coincidence when the baby monitor has charged a little the next morning. The lullaby, which is supposed to calm the baby, is ultra stupid, rattles and clangs in the ears, and it is much too loud. Likewise, the intercom function is far too loud (not adjustable) to calm a baby, so it's also totally for the cat. The parent part has a kind of clip to attach it to your trousers or something (like a biro). But it's upside down, so the phone is upside down. Probably because the design would not have worked the other way round. But the main thing is that it looks chic... According to the motto "top on the outside, flop on the inside". Unfortunately, the reception is only just above 2 floors, where it starts to beep and constantly reconnects to the network. What exactly are you paying for at this price? The plastic cover can't be it and the battery obviously isn't either. Absolutely no recommendation to buy from me.
