The Motorola MBP36 features a 3.5-inch color LC display on the parent unit. With the help of the camera (baby unit), the baby monitor can transmit live images to another room, allowing you to keep an eye on your baby without having to enter the nursery.
The baby unit is equipped with eight highly sensitive infrared LEDs that provide clear images in the dark. As soon as the integrated light sensor detects even the slightest ambient light, the LEDs automatically turn on, and the parent unit's display shows a monochrome video image. In night vision mode, a moon symbol appears on the display.
You can move the camera left or right, as well as up or down, with the push of a button. Additionally, a zoom function can be activated.
Press and hold the talk button on the parent unit to speak to the baby. The baby can hear your voice through the speaker of the baby unit.
The temperature measured by the temperature sensor of the baby unit is displayed at the top of the parent unit's display. If the display lights up red, it indicates that the temperature in the baby's room is too high (above 29 °C) or too low (below 14 °C).
