Amazon Alexa

Alexa is the voice assistant from Amazon. A number of different smart speakers are available to interact with it. The smallest, the Echo Dot, is primarily used to receive commands and play back information, while larger speakers like the Echo or Echo Plus can also be used as multi-room speakers. The Echo Show series has a display. This can be especially useful if you want to display the weather, a Vimeo video, or a cooking recipe. In addition, these devices can also be used for video calling. There are other third-party speakers that have Amazon Alexa integrated as well.
In addition to their function as standalone and multi-room speakers, Amazon Echo devices also serve as an entry point into Amazon's smart home world, meaning all compatible devices. For example, you can control your network camera, lamps or multrioom speakers via voice command.
The variety of different Alexa Smart Speakers lets you find the right one for every application. The system also has one of the broadest portfolios of addressable devices from other manufacturers. Whether it's a robotic mower or a smart thermostat, there is almost always a device that is compatible with Amazon Alexa.
