Question about Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Yoga Gen 1

Does this laptop get hot when used for longer periods (several hours) in tabla mode (folded flat) or does the Lenovo manage the heat well? Unfortunately, the Surfacebook 2 gets too hot when used as a tablet. I have to put something between the screen and the keyboard in tablet mode so that I can use it.
