Description

The Yealink SIP-T56A combines simple operation with modern technology. The most important information is displayed on the 7-inch capacitive touch screen with practical speed dialling options. The current audio codecs such as G.722, G.711 and also the new OPUS codec are supported.

Modern equipment
The SIP-T56A comes with the Android 5.1.1 operating system and pre-installed applications such as e-mail client, calendar and much more. The large, tiltable touch screen and the 27 speed-dial keys with individually adjustable functions simplify everyday work enormously.

The VoIP phone with Gigabit switch can be operated via PoE, supports up to 16 SIP accounts and the new Opus codec. Bluetooth 4.0 with headset profile, USB port for headsets and WLAN 802.11b/g/n is also integrated.

The device can be wall-mounted and supplemented with up to three expansion modules (EXP50), each offering 60 additional speed-dial memory locations.

Android 5.1.1
The Android operating system was adapted to the VoIP environment by Yealink to ensure a high level of security. For example, third-party applications can only be installed via auto-provisioning and only by the administrator. A normal user cannot simply install an application as usual with Android smartphones.

Applications such as e-mail, calendar, recorder, file manager, browser and much more are already pre-installed. Three individually adjustable "homescreens" are also available.

Phones

The telephone (from the Greek: τῆλε, tēle, "far" and φωνή, phōnē, "voice"), often colloquially referred to as a phone, is a telecommunications device that transmits and receives sound, most commonly the human voice. Telephones are a point-to-point communication system whose most basic function is to allow two people separated by large distances to talk to each other. It is one of the most common appliances in the developed world, and has long been considered indispensable to businesses, households and governments. The word "telephone" has been adapted to many languages and is widely recognized around the world.

Ethernet
i

Ethernet

Ethernet play is a family of computer networking technologies for local area networks (LANs) commercially introduced in 1980. Standardized in IEEE 802.3, Ethernet has largely replaced competing wired LAN technologies.
Systems communicating over Ethernet divide a stream of data into individual packets called frames. Each frame contains source and destination addresses and error-checking data so that damaged data can be detected and re-transmitted.
The standards define several wiring and signaling variants. The original 10BASE5 Ethernet used coaxial cable as a shared medium. Later the coaxial cables were replaced by twisted pair and fiber optic links in conjunction with hubs or switches. Data rates were periodically increased from the original 10 megabits per second, to 100 gigabits per second.

They have many uses including in call centers and other telephone-intensive jobs and for anybody wishing to have both hands free during a telephone conversation.

A telephone directory contains an alphabetical list of all subscribers in a telephone network, usually divided into regions, together with their associated and unique telephone numbers. Not included are secret numbers or telephone numbers for which the customer has objected to an entry or does not wish to be published in the print media (publication on CD-ROM, on the Internet or via the information is nevertheless possible). Due to the many addresses included, telephone directories can also be used as an address book.
