A lot of music for little money

The amplifier delivers a first-class sound quality for this price and also has plenty of power reserves. I use the Yamaha R-S20DAB with two 340W 8 Ohm floorstanding speakers to get the most out of it. I use it in the bedroom which measures 32 m2, when I turned up the first time the perfume bottles jumped off the shelf:)

BT paring with iPhone works fine, Mac and TV I have connected via RCA. All devices sound great and when there's no music playing, the amp doesn't make a sound (hum). The same goes for DAB+ reception, only downside; the track currently playing is not shown on the display! The amplifier and remote control are clearly and simply designed, without any bells and whistles. The speaker connections I find a little too small, cables with a cross-section over 2.0 mm² no longer fit in, which I find but in view of the excellent sound quality not disadvantageous.

If you like to listen to music regularly and have high demands on the sound quality, you will certainly be very satisfied when buying this amplifier. Despite the aforementioned minor flaws, I give the full rating due to the price/performance ratio. more
