You can hardly see the control buttons. They are on the side and black on black. You have no idea which one you are on.
Super-multiroom app? doesn't exist. Just undiscoverable on google play. In the manual it is mostly mentioned as "The App", briefly as "Sharp Music".... But it is advertised in large letters on the box.
Play music via bluetooth? It hacks everything, even in the same room. In Bluetooth mode, static electricity builds up on the housing, so that you always get a nice cow's thread shock.
There is only one button to switch between the inputs. You have to press x times until you have the right input. Each time with a 10s wait and a nice woman's voice announcing the input.
The standby also switches on randomly.
The sound would still be OK, but with this thing you only have trouble. Shame on Sharp for leaving something like this on the market.

With a lot of bass, it rattles out of the rear connections www.youtube.com/watch?v=NmJNelPaMuo&t=6s
I could bet that it's the same with many other models, without anyone noticing. It doesn't happen with normal TV operation, only with bass-heavy music.
Every time the soundbar turns on, a friendly female voice from the soundbar says, and not exactly in a quiet tone, which input it is set to >> If it is set to ARC, the female voice first says "ARC" before it switches over to the TV sound, with Optical "Optical" etc.. Unfortunately, the volume cannot be reduced or turned off completely.
The status light, which is white at the front when ARC is selected, is much too bright, so we taped it off with black tape.
We only found out afterwards that certain TV channels had no sound.
Without an integrated Dolby Audio Decoder in the soundbar, it remains mute with most channels, unless you have a TV where you can switch the sound from bitstream to PCM, with our Sony TV (2018) as we have now found out, there is no such setting.
With most channels, you can select a different sound track in addition to Dolby, then sound comes, but if we changed the channel and back to the previous one, the previously switched sound was back to Dolby. Our TV could not remember the previous setting, and we had to change the sound track again and again almost every time we changed channels, which was very annoying.
The sound, however, was okay, clear treble and good mid-range presence, better than on our TV. Unfortunately, the negative points mentioned were too much for me to return it.
Our copy will probably be treated as DOA because of the bass interferences and will be returned to the manufacturer or disposed of immediately.
