    Small but slow

The 128GB version of the stick is advertised with 150MB/s read speed and that is correct.
What is not mentioned is the write speed of 15 - 20MB/s at the most.
This is already useless for sharing pictures or small films,
because you have to wait until the thing has finished writing in the first place.

My internal Mac HDU is a factor of 100 - 120 times faster and the external hard drive is also 6 times faster.

If I had known that, I would never have bought this stick.

    Contra

    • slow
    • unwieldy. covers the second port on the Mac.

works as expected. it's just a memory stick =) It takes up a bit of space, so there's not really room for anything else next to it. Good for a calculator that only has one slot anyway!

You can't just leave it plugged in permanently, because firstly it gets super hot and secondly it takes up quite a lot of space

    Pro

    • fast
    • huge data volume
    • Small and handy

    Contra

    • somewhat unusual mechanism
    • requires an enormous amount of space around the slot. If you only insert the stick, it works.
    • gets very hot (not insanely hot, but unusually hot, not just warm).
