I bought the monitor as a replacement for my acer gd245hq, which gave up the ghost after about 6-7 years -> stupidly because of loose contacts. The QLED panel heats up quite quickly, which is noticeable when you touch it (e.g. when you want to adjust the height etc.) (I don't know if this is normal. I estimate 40-50°C). Dark colours of the monitor have a blatant grey haze, even after intensive readjustment of the monitor or turning down the brightness. The response time lags a bit behind, which is clearly noticeable when playing some games (mostly shooters) due to ghosting effects. Some shortcomings are also noticeable during normal use. For example, you can see streaks when scrolling documents/browsers with a white background.

I have had the screen for 4 years now and switched from a laptop to a PC at that time. Initially, I was quite convinced by the picture and also very much enjoyed the product. However, I soon noticed that this monitor was not at all suitable for my applications. My brother bought it at the same time as me and all his games run smoothly. For me, however, I have absolute screen tearing. I have never seen a worse picture than on my screen and I don't know what the problem is. I have now tested everything for 3 years (with HDMI, DP, 144 Hz, 60Hz, response time, vsync, freesync) etc etc but still no "smooth" gameplay. Not for a single game. I really don't know what else to do, except replace the screen.
