After long research and many comparisons between the LG model and this one, I unfortunately chose Philips by mistake. I regretted this decision, so I returned the TV to Digitec after a few hours, which meant 170.- for me due to the 10% bring-in rate...at Migros I would have received 100% back. Although I had already read about the reasons below, I could not imagine that they would lead me to return the TV, but they did, because they were serious for me.
- The Ambilight in this TV is a complete failure for me. The top light bar is really so badly aligned that it shines up at the ceiling - unless you live in a cathedral with such high walls that the light is lost. Otherwise it just looks stupid when the whole back wall is illuminated all the way up. Forums recommended that this effect disappears if you put the TV very close to the wall, so I ignored the problem. However, no one told me that you can't put the TV so close that this works because of the base. So it only works if you hang the TV on the wall. I can't imagine how Philips couldn't see this in tests.
- Android TV is really rubbish and only in the build-up phase: slow, unstable and the worst (for me): It doesn't allow you to select inputs directly with a universal remote like Logitech Harmony. This really only works via Source and selecting channels with the directional pad. Getting this to work reliably on the Harmony is really impossible.
So these two main reasons led to the return. For some, these will not be serious. Then I basically recommend the TV because it has a great picture and also looks fancy.
But there is definitely a better way. For me, that means: No more Philips!

It's a good TV, the oled is really beautiful. Android TV runs well but there are some slowdowns and finally the ambilight really adds a charm to this TV. The remote control is a bit thick but it's nice to use. On the other hand, the sound is not very good, it's enough to watch programmes but to watch films or series, you'll have to buy a sound bar or a home cinema. Another point that is really annoying is that Android TV is not in UHD but in Full HD. So if you want to watch movies in 4K, it won't work, you'll have to buy an external UHD compatible media player. But this is still ok considering the price of this Oled TV compared to the competition.
