purchased this productPower tool with a very wide range of applications.
The setup with Netgear EX6200 and EX6400 in combination has turned out to be very difficult. A WPS and a new configuration had to be carried out constantly. The W-LAN printers were also somewhat overwhelmed by the reinstallation.
I recommend the following procedure when inserting into an existing network as a replacement for the old device.
Uninstall all network devices on all clients beforehand. 2.
2. roughly set up the router again
3. log off all clients
4. replace the old router
5. do not activate "Smart Connect". (Home networks with older devices will get confused). 6.
6. then register printers and the like in the network again.
7. assign fixed IPs to the devices on the router.
8. reconnect printers and network drives on the clients / create new home networks.
Other procedures can lead to unwanted network errors that make it necessary to connect back and forth.
However, the router does not deserve a bad rating because of this complicated procedure.
If all end devices were capable of technologies such as 5G and MU-MIMO and beamforming, then connectivity would also be easier. But that is no longer the case today. A network is only as strong as its weakest component.Pro

Great router for the whole family. Whether the son is playing online via PS4, the daughter is surfing YouTube at the same time, the smart home devices are synchronising, the wife is watching her favourite show and I am writing this review, the router is certainly no longer the eye of a needle. Only the subscribed internet line poses the limit.
The settings are easy to find and the NAS server is quickly connected.
Unfortunately, the current firmware uses an old encryption for the VPN, but this will be fixed in the next firmware update (the Nighthawk R9000 already has it).
Each time the setting is changed, it takes between 30s and 120s for the router to adopt it (router does a soft reboot).
All in all, a successful device with a good price-performance ratio. If you want more, you should take a look at the R9000.Pro
