Has met my expectations so far

I am very satisfied with the device so far. Especially in conjunction with a docking station I can work very well with it. I also find it advantageous that both a USB A and a USB C port are available. The camera and microphone for video calls meet my expectations (which is not unimportant nowadays). The sound quality of the speakers is definitely worse than the HP device I had before. Apart from that, however, there are no negative points that I've noticed so far. I've been working with the device for about two weeks now, and I'm already expecting that a lifespan of 4 years should be possible. Let's see if that will be the case :-)

    Pro

    • Nice design
    • runs relatively quiet (except at high temperatures)
    • Flat and compact

    Contra

    • Sound quality
    • When it's hot the fan has to work quite hard, which you can hear.

It was not possible to register a Mircosoft warranty claim

I was unable to register the warranty claim via the Microsoft site. they have a good customer defence. I will never rely on the standard warranty again. I think the notebook is great. But how to register a service case via Microsoft is impossible. I can't get it to work in any case. Warranty now gone. I'm rather happy not to have to solve it via Mircosoft and the strange link that Galaxus gives you. How Galaxus shirked its responsibility, well. It's just a seller.
