Great print quality - rest still has room for improvement

First of all, once again a compliment to digitec: delivery within less than 24 hours.
After the preliminary clarifications, there were 2 favourites: Brother MFC-L6800DW and Kyocera Ecosys M2640idw. In terms of price, print
quality, number of functions, etc. the differences are small or negligible for me, so that in the end the smaller footprint of the Kyocera tipped the scales in favour of the purchase.
My experiences after a good month:
    a) Excellent print quality, fast, still fast enough in "quiet print" mode, but actually quieter.
    b) The configuration options are too much for me (manual = 443 pages!!). I deleted everything I didn't need from the touchscreen menu. Installation and commissioning went off without a hitch. Fine-tuning via browser, whereby the menu navigation is not quite up to date and the countless options are sometimes without additional information.
    c) Strange: If the control via WLAN is deactivated, something ticks incessantly and disturbingly in the printer (relay??). An e-mail to Kyocera Switzerland about this has remained unanswered to date. So, WLAN is activated again, although I use the printer via LAN.
    d) The fold-out sheet feeder could be better designed in terms of long-term quality. At least I have the feeling I have to handle it more carefully than the flap of the predecessor HP Laserjet 2055, which was half the price 6 years ago.

    Pro

    • Excellent print quality
    • Fast, duplex without problems,
    • Countless setting options
    • Touchscreen menu can be changed individually, surface reacts reliably

    Contra

    • Settings: Complex menu navigation
    • Single-sheet feeder is limited in terms of design to inspire confidence
    • The toner supplied is sufficient for 3600 copies = 50 % of the original cartridge
