One of the best smartphones on the market

I got the Huawei P20 pro in Twilight from my supplier as my Mate 10 pro was broken after a fall. It comes with a charging cable, power adapter, USB-C headphones, 3.5 mm jack to USB-C adapter (no headphone jack), clear case, paper stuff and sim card slot opening tool. The smartphone feels great, everything is finished to the highest standard.

The display edges are minimal at the top and side, but there is still the fingerprint sensor at the bottom, which means there is a slightly thicker edge at the bottom. Personally, I like the fingerprint sensor on the front, because you don't need onscreen buttons anymore.

The battery life is incredible - I can get through about 2 days of normal use (1 day ~ 06:30-21:00), and I can get through the day without any problems with heavy use. The screen on time is usually between 8 and 10 hours for me (like with the Mate 10 pro). The battery is very quickly full again with Huawei Super Charge, but it slows down from about 85%.

The camera takes extremely good photos both during the day and at night. In my opinion, the best. Videos are not stabilised at 4k. Full HD +, however, is very well stabilised.

The voice quality and the network quality are very good, because a special technology suppresses ambient noise, so you can even talk on the phone in a football stadium without shouting....

The fingerprint sensor is super fast and reliable. Android 8.1 is also already included. The speakers (earpiece supporting and 1 main speaker) sound good. I don't miss the missing SD card slot thanks to the 128 GB. The only negative point for me is that the P20 pro doesn't support wireless charging, which would have been a good idea with the glass back...

In my opinion, the Huawei P20 pro is currently the best smartphone on the market and I am always impressed by the photos and the battery life.

In my opinion, Huawei has hit the bull's eye with the P20 Pro.

    Solid mobile with weak EMUI

To start with... I have been using Huawei (P8; P9 and P10) for a long time....

The P20 Pro is of course the best device in the series so far, but the current version of EmotionUI (EMUI 8.1.0) has some weaknesses. For example,
notifications cannot be unfolded in the lock screen and app notifications are missing in the always-on screen.

Nevertheless, I still recommend buying it.
