purchased this productVersatile travel gadget for the ever-connected
I have tested the HotSpot in the USA (AT&T Pay-as-you-go) and am completely satisfied with the performance. However, depending on the country/network, a 4G connection is not possible, as the device apparently does not support the latest 4G standards. In such a case, you have to make do with 3G. However, if you focus on "mainly online", you can live with this compromise and it is sufficient for mails, social media and normal web use. (in Switzerland, for example, 4G with SALT works perfectly).
Practical feature: The hotspot switches to power-saving mode after a configurable period of inactivity and can then be reactivated at the touch of a button.
The battery life is very good, over 15 hours with intensive use.Pro

purchased this productDoes what it should
The mobile hotspot does exactly what it is supposed to and quite reliably. You can be divided about the product design. If you like a cheap-looking leather imitation made of hard plastic, you will be happy. The built-in battery keeps the device connected for a long time, which is an advantage on the road. It does not support the latest and fastest 4G standard, but it is sufficient for Zattoo and the mobile office. Setup and commissioning with a normal-sized Swisscom SIM worked within minutes and without problems.
Pro
- Battery with large capacity
- Good reception and transmission performance
- Simple setup
Contra
- Does not support the latest LTE standards
- There are certainly smaller and lighter devices on the market
