    A good product, but more for fixed installation.

    I bought this hard drive to make back-ups of two laptops.
    The enclosure is elegant and solid, and has very good connectivity: USB, Firewire 400/800, external SATA. I really liked the fact that cables for all these standards     are included.
    The only negative point is the power supply - this drive was replacing a FireWire powered external drive, this one needs its own power supply. This is a plug-in power supply, the kind that blocks adjacent sockets. It comes with interchangeable end caps (UK plug). The power cable is a proprietary connector (plug), the kind that gets mixed up and disconnected easily. A USB-C power supply would have been appreciated.
