purchased this productExcellent 3D printer for hobbyists
I am absolutely satisfied with the purchase. In the past, I used a 3D printer from XYZprinting for various small hobby projects. It always gave me enough satisfaction, but was limited in print volume and choice of materials (only PLA). Also, it only used proprietary filament and could only print when connected by cable to a PC.
For a price a couple of hundred Francs more, I brought home something much better: more volume, more printable materials (PLA, ABS, PETG and PVI), double extruder, stand-alone mode or connectable to a PC; there is also the possibility of configuring a raspberry with octoprint and driving it with that.
The accuracy remains that of a printer for hobbyists, but given the price, I feel I can recommend it to anyone interested in something more than just an entry level.
Pro
- Double extruder
- Possibility of closing the print space
- Possibility of using third-party software
- Advanced native printing software
- Practically turnkey
- Solid
- Wide range of printable materials
- Adjustable and heatable bed up to 120°C
- Excellent quality/price
- Use generic filament
Contra
- Noisy as an open printer
- Non-independent extruders
