    probably better to buy a Caterpillar

    I bought the device in December 2016. Since then, the device has survived several falls without damage, but it has never been in water - with the exception of being in soaked clothing. The device is definitely quite difficult to kill. What was annoying from the start, however, was the camera, which does not live up to expectations for the following reasons: 1. slow viewfinder 2. grotty resolution when you look at the pictures on the computer screen 3. the resolution is even worse in poor lighting conditions 4. the resolution becomes even more unusable when you use the digital zoom.
    Although the robustness of the device in intact condition leaves nothing to be desired, the durability is not exactly high. After about 1.5 years, the side cover began to peel off, which 1. looks ugly and 2. affects the waterproofness etc. The battery has also steadily deteriorated during this time. Furthermore, the battery has steadily lost power during this time, and together with the battery charging times that felt longer and longer, the device was ultimately plugged in longer than it was in free use.
    Overall, the purchase is not recommended.

    Really suitable for outdoor use, but there are better performance options.

    The primary requirement for my phone is that it doesn't break or drown. And that's exactly what it does.

    • Camera quality is very poor
    • Currently no free configuration of the buttons
