    On the right track

I was actually very happy with the sound of my Jaybirds X2, but they never fit right and kept falling out when I was exercising. The cable was also constantly getting in the way at the gym. Truly wireless - that's what I needed.

The Bose do quite a lot right in this still young generation of earbuds. No dropouts, good battery life, good workmanship and feel. The sound doesn't come close to the really very good X2, but they hold perfectly and I can even jog with them. They are even so comfortable that I forgot after a few minutes to have them in the first place. Visually, you look just like Shrek, but I am now smiled at more (pitifully) in sports.

Unfortunately, they do not shield sounds too well, so you hear a lot of ambient noise with soft music (classical). With mainstream this is admittedly not so noticeable. They should also be a bit louder (may also be due to Android 7.1.1/Note 8).

All in all, a coherent package for me to sport. For train rides, flights and coffees, however, I prefer to take my ANC-over ears. For coming generations it has upward still much air for improvements in the sound and perhaps ANC (I know, Sony has already a try on the market). But at the moment you are not badly served with the Bose.

If Bose would "finally" fix the problem of asynchronous sound & picture, the headphones would be highly recommended - unfortunately not like this.

I use my headphones with various iOS devices. In certain apps, e.g. YouTube, the sound is not in sync with the picture (approx. 2 seconds out of sync). The latest firmware is installed. Devices have been re-paired several times.

After researching on the internet, the problem is well known but not solved by Bose.

The headphones are not usable for me as they are. Especially not for this price. But if you only want to listen to music, you'll certainly be satisfied.
The sound would be absolutely great, but since it is not in sync with the picture, it is unfortunately insufficient.

    Good fit for me

This is exactly what I was waiting for. Good price / performance ratio. Beautifully crafted robust box with LED's for charging indicator. Well, sound quality is of course not comparable with Overear - but, nice bass, clear middle, good high tones. The medium earplugs with the small earpieces fit perfectly for me. Shake the head and they stay in the ear. Light - slight pressure noticeable after a few minutes. Otherwise very light. App is a bit cumbersome - well, lots of confirmations for this and that - but think the search function will still prove itself. Design: well, a bit clunkier than others - but that's probably why the bass is better. All in all, for me the really good matching earbuds.

Phone calls are only made via the right ear cup - the mic is also only on the right. I find this more comfortable than most earbuds that use both ear cups for sound.
