Good AIO that could be even better.

I have installed my first AIO (at the special price of 129.00) in the DARK BASE PRO (189.00) and am satisfied with the result. Before that I had Noctua NH-U12P SE2 (15.80cm) in the Bitfenix Raider Case. So my system was already pretty quiet.
Now my i7 4770K runs instead of @4.2Ghz with Noctua under full load with about 68-70 degrees, new with @4.4Ghz and same temp. The included Silent Wings 2 fans could be replaced with better ones (SW3). Together with the bequiet case, it's a good combination. When idle and the fans are at their lowest setting (manually adjustable), I can hardly hear anything from the PC. When there is no music playing, I can hear the second hand of the wall clock....
All this without messing around with RPM. With fine-tuning, I'm sure you can get even more out of it.
I recommend buying it, but not the full points because of the Silent Wings 2 fans. I will replace them as soon as Digitec has the SW3 140s on special offer ;-)

More like Silent Loupé! - If you want to throw your money out the window, do what I did. Otherwise, opt for a safe bet like air heatsinks.

This product is praised very positively by the review sites as the performance and silence are there from the first hours of use. But after a few weeks of video editing, the manufacturer's promises are gone and this AIO does not do better than a low-end 120mm. Initially thinking that the product I received was unlucky, I decided to buy the entire be quiet! Silent Loop range in succession. All models have three major flaws. 1. The pump, silent at the beginning, starts to "squeak" after 3 months, and these noises intensify with time to the point of becoming very annoying. Even the purging recommended by the manufacturer does not help. 2. During CPU load variations, the copper radiator has this annoying tendency to make surprisingly loud popping noises. This is not mentioned in the reviews or by the suppliers. 3. The promised efficiency is highly questionable, as even with this model mounted in different enclosures equipped with an I7 7700K the idle temperature is 34°C and the load temperature is 72°C. The 120mm model offered by a competitor and at a third of the price of this AIO does better with less than 10° C at the same OC conditions.

    Excellent

I am very satisfied with the water cooling. Installed in Fractal R5 with i7-6850k. At 100% CPU performance (stress test) max temperature 44°C.
However, a very high sound from the pump is easily audible.

    Otherwise TOP

    Pro

    • Cooling capacity
    • Installation
    • Needs only 1 fan slot despite 2 fans
    • Fan only audible under full load

    Contra

    • Quiet high tone from water pump
