Yes, it is possible with the right cable, e.g. MiniDisplay Port->Display Port; there is a selection of these at digitec.
I wouldn't recommend it because 27 inches is quite big for that and you can't necessarily play newer games smoothly without extremely high-end hardware.
I recommend a 1440p 144 Hz monitor for gaming.
Yes, it is definitely compatible for gaming.
Just keep in mind that the very high resolution can be a disadvantage in games in terms of performance. In addition, with a response time of 5 ms, you have about 0.1% less fast reactions, which is suboptimal in games.
Nevertheless, it is definitely suitable for gaming, even if I have to say that 4K gaming is not really fun at the moment.
The inclination to the front/rear can be adjusted, but not to the side.
This is exactly the combination I have in use. It works as expected, i.e. a single USB-C cable (included) between the MacBook and the monitor transmits 4k@60Hz video data and provides enough power to charge the battery.
