Adobe is making huge price leaps. I was once able to subscribe to the suite under "education" for less than CHF 20 per month. Today it costs me CHF 40 per month. There are weekly updates, but increasingly I can no longer download most updates (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) with my iMac late 2017 Intel i7 (top version at the time, Ventura macOS 13.X.Y is the end!), or even use many programmes (!), including Premiere, Media Encoder, Lightroom Classic.
I'm slowly getting fed up. Unfortunately, there is no real European alternative (Affinity?). Adobe has bought up everything and is also urging users to buy new hardware from their friend Apple. There is still a lot to criticise: 15 years ago the programmes started in seconds, today it takes almost a minute even with a fast network. Furthermore, cross-compatibility within Adobe is inadequate. For example, if I make comments with Acrobat Pro in a newspaper clipping (PDF) and I place this commented PDF in InDesign, arrows or frames are missing. Only the text is visible or the marker crosses. Well...
