Product details

Test adapter for electric charging points (1-/3-phase, Type 2) for Profitest with protective contact socket (Type F). The 1- and 3-phase test adapter with Type 2 plug is used to test the effectiveness of protective measures at electric charging points with the Profitest Master. It allows for the simulation of fictitiously connected electric vehicles as well as the simulation of current carrying capacity according to IEC 61851-1. The extended CP test pin is also suitable for testing charging points with permanently mounted charging cables.

Vehicle simulation (CP): Vehicle states A to E are set via a rotary switch.

Cable simulation (PP): The various codings for charging cables with 13, 20, 32, and 63 A, as well as "no cable connected," can also be simulated using the rotary switch.

Error simulation: A short circuit between CP and PE can be simulated via the rotary switch. The phase voltages are displayed via LEDs; depending on the electric charging station, one or three phases may be active.

For vehicle simulation (CP): According to IEC 61851, states A, B, C, and E can be simulated. The different vehicle states are set using the rotary switch:

  • State A: No vehicle connected
  • State B: Vehicle connected but not ready to charge
  • State C: Vehicle connected and ready to charge, ventilation of the charging area not required
  • State E: Error: short circuit CP-PE via internal diode

For cable simulation (PP): The various codings for charging cables with 13, 20, 32, and 63 A can be simulated. It is also possible to simulate the state "no cable." The simulation of the various charging cables is done by switching different resistances between PP and PE using the rotary switch. According to IEC 61851, the following values are possible:

  • 13 A cable - 1.5 kΩ
  • 20 A cable - 680 Ω
  • 32 A cable - 220 Ω
  • 63 A cable - 100 Ω
